Companies and institutions can join the Filarete Foundation through two types of membership.

Co-founders participate in the initial endowment by December 31st, 2009 acquiring the following privileges:

• Role in the Governance of the Foundation through presence in the Board of Directors;
• Possibility of submitting proposals and opinions on the activities and development programs of the Foundation, through the Co-founders Committee;
• Priority access at special conditions to the spaces, the Platforms and the support services offered by the Accelerator;
• Right of pre-emption on the Intellectual Property Rights on the discoveries made at the Foundation;
• Access to the scientific and financial network of the Foundation.

Supporting members acquire the following benefits:

• Possibility of submitting proposals and opinions on the activities and programs of the Foundation, through the Supporting Members Committee;
• Facilitated access to the spaces, the Platforms and the accompanying services offered by the Accelerator;
• Access to the scientific and financial network of the Foundation.
