CALL4BRAIN will take place ON 20 NOVEMBER 2015 IN MILAN
Milan, 27 October 2015 - CALL4BRAIN 2015 is a free event entirely dedicated to disseminate and promote the challenges in the medical and technological innovation field. The event will present an exclusive premiere of the famous talk TEDMED American and will compare views and opinions of doctors, patients and innovators. CALL4BRAIN is organized by Fightthestroke.org, association founded by Francesca Fedeli and Roberto D'Angelo to support the cause of young stroke survivors as their little Mario.
The event will take place at the Politecnico di Milano (Piazza Leonardo da Vinci 32, Aula De Donato).
The first edition of CALL4BRAIN, which was held in September 2014, drew more than 400 people, including doctors, scientists, students and, in general, people interested in the subject of science and innovation.
TEDMED is a world renowned event that brings together a community of global leaders in the medical sector, new technology and 'curious thinkers'. Created by the founder of TED, Richard Saul Wurman, TEDMED believes that only by creating an inclusive dialogue between people of different cultures, we can expect the 'big picture' of health and medicine, thus beginning to inspire a thought disruptive able to shape the future well-being of our planet.
This year, delegates will gather in TEDMED Palm Springs (California) on November 18-20, connect digitally with TEDMED Live. CALL4BRAIN 2015 is TEDMED Live for Italy, then it will show a series of talk of TEDMED selected by a panel of scientific Italian curators, experts in different disciplines. During the day there will be a chance to meet with the curators during the open discussion sessions and workshops, by invitation, focused on specific innovation projects.

We really believe in values such as sharing, contamination and inspiration that are the basis of TEDMED and that have guided the work of Fightthestroke outset: it was precisely the experience of 2014 that led us to develop the platform rehabilitation 'Mirrorable' , the project also supported by the fellowship of the network of social entrepreneurs, Ashoka '.
